Electool Hungary will soon start offering ProcurementTool, an open-source electronic procurement platform, to businesses in Hungary, managing director Akos Szabo said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
Electool, which sets up electronic procurement systems and organises online auctions, had revenue of HUF 140m in 2006, up 40pc from 2005. This year it targets revenue to grow about the same amount. Electool's profits are about 10pc of revenue.
The company's clients include Budapest Bank, CIB Bank, MKB Bank, BASF, Nokia and British American Tobacco. Electool has a unit in Slovakia and plans to set one up in Ukraine this year.
